Prosecco 2018 Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG "Extra Dry"

“Haute-Couture-Prosecco by women” - Chandra Kurth wrote full of enthusiasm in her wine-seller-Journal – and furthermore: “I discovered this Prosecco at a presentation in Zurich and was fascinated after just one sip. We only know such aromatic precision in champagne. ... When bottling, a spontaneous fermentation takes place with indigenous yeast, which is unique for Prosecco and an indication of a high quest for quality. A wine, which is better enjoyed out of a white wine glass. ... An absolute discovery and the pure opposite of large-scale Proseccos. For me it is one of the best Proseccos I have had to date.”

It is Cinzia and Pier Francesca Bonicellu (oenologists) who are in charge at this exemplary vineyard. The name ALICE is a homage to Cinzia’s grandmother who shared the same first name. Women set the tone in every sense with Vigne di Alice. This Prosecco won the “Three Bottle Award No. 1 Brut of the year 2007” in 2009. This DORO is one of the very few DOCG Proseccos. It originates from Valdobiadene and Conegliano, approx. 60 km north of Venice, which is where the best Prosechi come from. Sensational price/performance relationship.
