Riesling St.Martin "dry" 2014 - white

Martin Korrell has a particular talent for ambitious Riesling varieties. Every year he presses afresh absolute premium wines. His vineyard is positioned in Rhineland-Palatinate at the river Nahe, which flows into the Rhine. The Romans used to cultivate wine here. Due to the very special soil conditions, the Riesling here, above all, produces a mineral, elegant wine. Due to the greatest soil diversity over such a small space, the “Nahe” wine-growing region is one of the most fascinating in Germany. This wonderfully accessible Riesling shines through its clear minerality and its refreshing fruity-acidity. This excellent white wine grows on red sandstone weathered soil in the centre of the best Riesling location by Bad Kreuznach.

  • Origin: Nahe*, Germany (*river that flows into the Rhine by Bingen)
  • Vintage: 2014 (actual year may vary)
  • Grape Variety: Riesling
  • Recommendation: Drink as an apéro, with light meals such as fish or poultry or with Sauerkraut!!
  • Maturity: from now until 2020
  • Ideal Drinking Temperature: 10°C - 12°C
  • White wine; bottle of 75 cl
