Rosato Bio IGT 2017 Podere Le Cinciole - rosé

A rarity - alone because of the small production of only 20000 bottles. The Slow Wine Guide wrote: “The results achieved are overwhelming to such an extent that Le Cinciole is classed as one of the best vineyards in the region.” The Azienda Le Cinciole encompasses 13 ha and is in the heartland of Chianti Classico. It has the best terroir at its disposal in the direct vicinity of Rampolla and Fontodi. As with all wineries of the Panzano municipality in Chianti, the Azienda Le Cinciole has been officially certified for biological cultivation since 2002. For Luca and Valeria Orsini, it has been an important concern for many years to work in keeping with nature to create a connection of quality, tradition and landscape. The wealth of floral fragrances, rich fruits paired with an unbelievable freshness characterise this rosé. As with all the other wines from Le Cinciole, it possesses a remarkable elegance.

  • Origin: Central Tuscany, Chianti IGT
  • Vintage: 2017 (actual year may vary)
  • Grape Variety: 100% San Giovese
  • Recommendation: Drink as an accompaniment to antipasti, pasta, white fish
  • Maturity: from now until 2020
  • Ideal Drinking Temperature: 10°C - 12°C
  • Rosé wine; bottle of 75 cl
